I came as an inmate starting a 40 year sentence...I knew I had nothing left to contribute to the world and I never would again...The first few years I was here, I acted out, got in trouble. Eventually, I got tired of that and stayed out of trouble long enough to get a job as a teacher's aide...Over time I realized that helping others get to that AHA! moment, it made me think that maybe, just maybe, I did have something left to give.
